But the LORD is the true God; he is the living God, and an everlasting king: at his wrath the earth shall tremble, and the nations shall not be able to abide his indignation. Jeremiah 10:10 KJV
Our GOD is a true GOD, He is a living GOD, and do we have doubts about this? Take a moment to look around you and in you. Scientists are still not able to agree about the creation of the universe or the creation of man, Historians are not able to disprove the birth of Jesus or His death and resurrection, Politicians are not able to remove the Word of GOD from their countries or from the hands of believers, Religions are not able to show that the gods they believe in are stronger or mightier than the One True GOD.
Look into yourself , your past , your present , your joy, your disappointments , your birth or soon your death are all surrounded in the hands of who you believe in , the One True GOD. There are everyday miracles that we do not see that leads us across the hurdles of a day, there are those quick prayers that turn things around and some that take longer than usual, there are the moments of grace when our GOD shows his mercy on our many sins, the moments when no molten image clad in gold or decked in silver can hear but only the One True GOD.
The One True GOD through His mercy and grace has forgiven us , has breathe life into us , has formed our bodies and spirits , has filled us with love and joy so that this world cannot take us away. The One True GOD before whose wrath the earth trembles and nations fall. Through history our GOD has stood in the midst of nations and changed their paths and yet they do not see nor acknowledge HIM, Jeremiah cries out to the people of Israel , do not be taken away by the gods of other nations , by lust and beauty of their gold and this cry can be heard even today.
“Do not fall to the gods of the World
Do not befriend their silver and Gold
Do not fall for their lustful Hold
Turn to your ONE TRUE GOD”
Turn to our One True GOD for through His Word, He shows us the way to go and covers our past in His Son’s blood. The One True GOD whose return we wait and prepare for, the One True GOD, the father of Abraham, Isaac, Jacob and me.
