The sound of weeping is all over the world, when death comes along, when sickness comes along, when pain rears her ugly head, when depression hits our ways , tears flow down our cheeks. What are these tears for?, are they for the unbearable pain you carry or for the deep rooted sins you have done?. What are these tears for?, are they for the lose of your security, power and purpose or are they for the lose of God's provision, hope and love?.
What are we crying for?, take a moment to look into the depths of your heart. Are we weeping from a selfish heart or a surrendered and willing heart , ready to follow God in every area of our life. Tears will continue to flow till they are directed to the only one who can wipe it way, our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.
Then there are the stubborn, who never weep, who say "Men do not cry", who stand on the premise of self control and will power. Even when they see the world falling around them they will not cry for they believe they are still in control , for their hearts have turned cold and dry.
Jesus wept, King David wept, King Hezekiah wept, tears have fallen from many great men in the Bible and many great men of God still weep today. Our tears should flow with submission and deep surrender , our tears should flow from a heart that wants to please and obey God, our tears should lead us to His feet. Let tears continue to flow freely so that we may glorify our living and everlasting God.
Continue to weep in His presence.
