You can show the power of Christ to everyone you meet in simple ways. It could be through a smile , a helping hand ,standing up for injustice or just supporting in silence.
It is tough and it depends on what drives you on a daily basis. If the burdens of this world are your driving force then your response to every situation will be based on those frustrations. Thus you have to be very careful what you feed your mind with , the images of the world are far from pretty and they do provoke unsettling thoughts . The only way to fight this is to cover the dreadful images with the beautiful creation of God around us.
On a recent trip I experimented with this idea ,focussing on God's wonderful creation through His own hands and through the hands of men. BBC and CNN had their stories but God's story through what surrounded me were completely different and when backed by His word , I was refreshed on a daily basis to fight the grind.
Using this inspiration, sharing the power of Christ with people I came across was a joy. The frustrations of the world are not going to change but we can fight it by filling our minds with the images that God brings to us. So start today by feeding your minds and souls with what God wants you to see and then this world becomes more beautiful and the power of Christ shines through you.
