ISOLATION BOXES

In prisons, there is an isolation cell where the most dangerous criminals are kept, in hospitals there are isolation wards , where patients with high risk and transferable diseases are kept. These are areas that do not allow interaction with the outside world. In today's world isolating oneself from others has become a way of keeping away from the clutches of society and giving one the freedom to live life according to one's own terms. A break from themadding crowd is necessary but only to energize yourself and come back with vigour.

Isolation has made people to have less accountability, transparency and communication with others , thus creating an atmosphere of assumptions and rumours among each other and eventually creating further distance from each other. In the future I see people looking out for isolation boxes around the cities they live in , so that people can take a break from people.

The truth is that we have brought this upon ourselves, our words and actions have kept us away from each other . We have hurt each other in ways that keeping a distance is a better option than building a relationship. Sons against fathers, daughters against mothers, church members against each other, the list goes on, allowing the devil and his demons to have a field day. The question is how do we fight against this, so that we do not end up having a home, a church , a society or even a nation of zombies.

The desire of being isolated can only be removed with the desire of being one with each other and we will need a few things to fall in place.

1. Prayer - A prayer for the right spirit within us to acknowledge and understand others. A prayer asking for the right attitude towards the actions and words shared by others . A prayer crying out for forgiveness for the hurt we have caused others.
2. Love - The prayer should be followed by action and this can happen only through love. Love that is genuine and deep. A Love that goes out and reaches out to others , holding them close to us.
3. Faith - Faith that all we are doing for others will build bridges and change lives. Faith that we can all work together to build a better tomorrow.

As you move on watch out for those isolation boxes and try to stay away from them. Let's take a look around us and see who and what we are avoiding and take the time to reconcile within ourselves and with others, they could be our family, our friends, our work colleagues or our church members . Take the step without fear and with humility, pray, love and live in faith for each other.
