Engrossed in work , things are moving all around me, work needs to be finished , the phones buzzing, more emails to be sent and in the middle of this , GOD says " Sing For Me" .
"Sing for you , now" I say and He repeats " Sing For Me" . Puzzled and trying to ignore the request I want on with work. Once more , HE says " Sing for Me" and I say " How do I do that here?". There is silence, like HE was waiting for me to answer , no clue how this would happen, imagine the situation, all my colleagues are around and if I jump into song, no matter how good the song , I would be reported to HR.
Then He said , "Sing for Me with your heart" , my ears tune in, my eyes open wide and I tell myself " Sing for Me with your heart". How beautiful to just let my heart burst into song for Him , the whole world around me may be filled with sounds of confusion, anger, envy, depression, sadness and stress and yet because HE is in me and with me , I can sing at the top of my voice with my heart.
And so I sang with my heart
"No fear can hold me
No pain can stop me
When You are with me
No tomorrow is bigger
No mountain is higher
When You are my Saviour "
Felt a bit like King David , singing and enjoying GOD's presence. I share this with you because I know all of us can sing with our heart, it is no more about your voice or talent , it is all about how ready your heart is, to allow Him to work through you.
In all the difficulties around you , my son , my daughter , " SING FOR ME ", He says and if you are concerned about what He really means, do not worry , now you know, He wants you to SING FOR HIM WITH YOUR HEART.
