These are terms that identify each one of us in some form or the other. In case you are above these terms , I am so grateful for your lives. As far as I look at it I am a
1. Blasphemer - At times I forget who my GOD is and what He can really do , the world and its ways make me feel that anything is possible without GOD. I speak and do like I do not know my GOD.
2. Persecutor - I look down at those who are lesser than me , who do not believe in the greatness and knowledge I assume I have. I persecute those who I have control over , I forget to love and to cherish who they are and why they exist.
3. Insolent Opponent - GOD speaks and shows me ways and means to know Him more , I oppose His every move, with words and actions I act against HIM with vengeance and anger not really knowing I am loosing my own sanity.
In spite of all this , out of His mercy and overflow of grace He was still ready to forgive me for my ignorance. In the faith and love of Christ He restored me to who I ought to be, a true worshipper of GOD, for He came into this world to save sinners. Once I knew Him I could not be the old person , the journey began.
This journey keeps bringing up the past but the battle has already been won so I do not fear and start again . The blasphemer , persecutor and insolent opponent lie somewhere within me and keep rising when I turn my eyes away .
He reminds and restores. So in case you are feeling not worthy of coming back do not think so, if He could forgive King David, Peter and the foremost of sinners , Paul , He can and will forgive and restore you today.
Stand before Him , naked as you were born, bear before Him every speck of darkness within you, ask for restoration and revival with a heart of surrender and the GOD who knows all will raise you.
Start the journey today , for He will take care of the destination if you take Him on the journey. Traverse the seas with no fear , you are in powerful hands.
