As each year passes by,we are going to get older,we are going to loose more hair and we are going to welcome the arrival of the "wrinkle mafia". Our bodies will respond slower and our minds will take more time to refresh.
When we look at the aged, a sense of urgency, or maybe a sense of fear, may come over us with questions of how am I going to face this period of my life. Then there is the constant factor, for those who believe, there is God and His protection upon us.
The word "deliverance" means "being rescued or set free", "a state of liberation" or as the Bible puts it, the "acts of God whereby He rescues His people from peril". Through the Word of God , He has promised us deliverance from the attacks of Satan, the bondage of demons, the pain of sickness, the fear of death and from many other hard facts of life.
Our role in this is to continue to trust God and move away from being stubborn hearted. If we continue to stock piles of cash, gold and diamonds,believing that we will be safe,it is false hope.if we continue to believe Botox,plastic surgery and detox will keep us young forever, we are living make believe lives.
When we start believing and trusting in the deliverance of God, things change. He directs us through the power of His Holy Spirit into actions that helps us protect our body and soul. He has made us and He will bear us, He will carry us and will deliver us even to our old age. Let us look into this day with the true hope of deliverance , it is going to be a bumpy ride, but then we can age gracefully when we have a God who is righteous and loving to the very end.
