They were good friends , the caterpillar and the butterfly , they spent time together, with the caterpillar talking about what he saw on the ground and around him while the butterfly spoke about what she saw in the air around, in the gardens she visited, in the parks she flew through, on the shoulders of people she spent time with.
The caterpillar stories were dry while the butterfly had such wonderful experiences and the caterpillar felt miserable crawling through his life and so he decided to ask her, how do you become a butterfly.
The butterfly looked at the caterpillar and said "Do you want to be a butterfly?". The caterpillar instantly said "Yes, I want to, I want to leave all my crawling behind, I want to stop being so vulnerable to my enemies, I want to fly into the sun and see the beauty of the world." The butterfly said , well there are 3 things you need to do -:
1. Make the choice to change , be ready to choose the change you want to be, to be the butterfly you want to be by making the right choices.
2. Be ready for the pain of change, as you allow change to take place , you will suffer pain and loneliness, you will wonder why you wanted to do all this, you will feel like stopping but don't ,the pain will only help you become stronger.
3. Look to the Creator of change , you and I are probably the smallest creatures in His universe but still He created us for a purpose so when He brings change in us to be stronger, beautiful and better , let us depend on Him completely to come out of the change and be transformed.
" I hope you are ready" the butterfly said to the caterpillar and he said " I am all set to fly" . The butterfly fluttered her wings and said "There is lot more to learn when you start flying".
Where are you today? , if you know you have to change from the person you are today then look to your Creator and He is ready to help you make the change. We all need to change we all need to become butterflies for Him.
