The recent buzz word in the software world is IoT or what is known as the Internet of Things. IoT is basically the interlinking of people,machines and things to allow the passing of information in order to enable real time decision making. In the future our cars will be able to guide us based on our physical condition , in other words in case we are feeling sleepy on a long drive , through the sensors on us and in the car, the car will come to a safe halt .
Now when I was reading and understanding this concept it just dawned me that our relationship with God is quite similar and probably God was already using this technology. God has placed sensors on each of us, He knows when we are tired , sad, weak, strong , joyful or just lost. He then works on us through situations, people and things to help us understand that He is control and moves us to positions that will see His glory revealed.
In case the car does not respond to the sense of fatigue of the driver, the consequences are clear. Thus when we humans decide to take matters in our hand beyond the control of God, the end result is unpleasant. So , today in your quiet time or otherwise when you hear a voice leading you away from disaster , listen to Him and obey His call, for He is the God of all things.
